It’s YEEZY season once again at Commonwealth and as always, the supply will never nearly come close to the demand. Nowhere near enough. And with that we are prompted with questions on how best to approach our release, while prioritising the safety of our customers, which is essentially one of the more important factors for us as industry players. If we proceed with an in-store release via first come, first serve - people will camp out and may inevitably lead to certain risks for those who do so. This may be the easiest scenario, but the least ideal for us. So as a team, we took some time to deliberate on how best to move forward with this.

Since day 1, customer service, fairness and transparency within our business has been of upmost importance to us. It has and continues to be our guiding principle in everything we do and seek to do. In December 2015, we pioneered the use of the Snapchat platform which allowed our customers to enjoy how we conduct our raffles in full transparency in the convenience of their homes. Our work with DTI and each brand partner proved to be a great success. We are grateful for the positive feedback and support for the way we’ve conducted our raffles in the past and so we’ve decided to continue with our tried and tested approach moving forward for this upcoming release. We feel this would still prove to be the fairest solution to allow true and honest fans of the shoe an equal opportunity of winning.

Thank you and see you at the shop! Good luck
